This atmospheric, 17th Century, oak panelled room, is perfect for a variety of meetings, away days, corporate or social functions. We also hire the whole house for filming purposes as well as Paranormal Investigations or team building exercises. All our refreshments have a 17th Century influence so whether it is a biscuit with your coffee, an afternoon tea or a full blown meal you can be assured of a unique tasting experience. In Cromwell's time, this is the very room where he would have sat to oversee the locals bringing corn and produce in order the pay their ?tithes? or taxes. In other words it was the Tax Office! Today, the Tithe Office has been restored to retain its character and charm and makes for an excellent function room venue.
