The County Room is on the first floor of the venue and is very big with elaborate decor, holding in the region of 400 people. The room overlooks the River Ouse at the Bedford Town Bridge end directly opposite the Swan Hotel - a stunning view.
The room has dividers which means that it can be sectioned for smaller groups or for wedding ceremonies to take place away from the main function area. The venue produces excellent food - way in excess of the standard conjured up by it's 3 star rating.
The venue is very popular with Asian wedding groups due to the sheer size of the room - it is also popular for proms and corporate events. A large car park and 1am music licence add to its appeal.
