The Large Hall has an impressive barrel roof and is ideal for large functions such as family gatherings, parties and fundraisers. Used by a variety of local groups during the week for activities ranging from Arts & Crafts to Country Dancing to Music for the Mind to Table Tennis. The large Hall shares a kitchen with Field View. Maximum numbers for the Large Hall when used for functions: Utilising tables and chairs 100 (10 tables with 60 to 80 people seated is typical) Close seated audience 100 (less if putting on a play or presentations with a projector) Standing audience 150 Hire costs depends on type of function and time of week. Discounts available for regular users during the week and charities. Field View Function Room is smaller and overlooks the Hall Field at the Western end of the Parish Hall. Ideal for smaller groups to learn a new skill or to hold meetings or to provide a buffet area or quiet space alongside a larger hall event. There is access to the shared kitchen from this room and toilet facilities are available through the Large Hall (when not booked) or externally from the main entrance at the Eastern end. Maximum number permitted in Field View is 40, however we find a comfortable capacity is 20 to 24 people if seated at tables.
