Corporate Event

Our anniversary event at the Forest of Arden was a complete success, all our guests enjoyed it and particularly commented on the excellent food, and the atmosphere. We have held events there before and Susan Hogan is always the consummate professional and nothing is too much trouble. The only downside to this event was that we had booked sufficient rooms for all our guests if they attended, and in the end we had to cancel 44 rooms with the resulting cancellation fees. We had thought that perhaps a small concession could be made in light of the value of the event, but apparently this is not company policy. It is always difficult when organising events to predict the uptake, and it would have been embarrassing not to have enough accommodation reserved for our guests, so we feel the policy on room cancellations (especially if they are rebooked by other people) to be a little bit rigid. This is our only adverse comment.
