The Avon Gorge Hotel is located in a breathtaking position in Clifton, Bristol and offers AMAZING views across the gorge and to Brunel's incredible Suspension Bridge. This venue is steeped in history and first opened its doors in 1898 when it was known as The Grand Spa Hotel.

Licensed for both wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships, this venue offers a choice of rooms in which to hold a ceremony and reception. It is also a grand location in which to hold a private party and a great feature here is that all rooms used for weddings and parties have stunning views of the gorge and surrounding areas.

If you'd like to get married at The Avon Gorge Hotel, you can create your own bespoke day with help from the wedding co-ordinator but they also offer packages each providing different options for a set fee. There is a choice of Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum packages but they also offer a Pie & Mash package which includes drinks and provides a relaxed party atmosphere!

There are a number of rooms to choose from in which to hold a wedding or party and The Riverside Suite is the largest of these, overlooks the Suspension Bridge and can hold a maximum of 80 guests for a seated reception or 120 for an informal reception. This suite is made up by combining both the Avon and Brunel rooms. Next is The Clifton Suite comprising of the Clifton and Bristol rooms which will hold 66 guests for a seated reception and 90 for an informal reception. As the rooms here are interchangeable, if you're looking for a smaller area, you can also hire The Avon Room, The Brunel Room, The Bristol Room and The Clifton Room individually. If you fancy an al-fresco reception or party, you can have a band or disco on The Outside Terrace which will hold 250 guests (when hired in conjunction with The Clifton Suite which gives direct access to the terrace) and this area has its own bar and BBQ.

This truly is a venue with a stunning backdrop and once your celebrations are over, you don't have far to go to stay in a gorgeous hotel room or exclusive wedding suite.
