What can I say? The venue was perfect for a party that needed to cater for dance, catching up, and children's presence, having a large room, a bar, two other smaller rooms and an area at the front of the hotel, which the staff felt was better to be used for the buffet. Everything was tweaked to make our party as enjoyable for us and our guests as possible. The staff were as helpful as they could be, ironing out any problems that arose eg: we had a glitch with our electronic photo frame. The staff were prepared to go home for the necessary leads which we'd forgotten to bring. Needless to say, it was sorted and ready to go for when the party started. The catering was excellent. Everybody made a point of saying how delicious it was. It was all freshly home cooked. I would definitely go there again and would recommend the Strand Lodge and Hotel to anyone.
