Houghton Village Hall offers a large main hall, roughly the size of a badminton court, suitable for all events and entertainment. It is equipped with a loop system for those with impaired hearing. There is a raised stage with a proscenium arch and curtains. There is a second smaller 'club room' to the rear of the building, suitable for meetings and presentations or can be used as a buffet servery or green room for an event in the main hall.
There is a large, modern, fully equipped kitchen with serving hatch into the main hall, refurbished in 2011. Flat access for wheelchairs is available to all rooms with one shallow ramp.
