The perfect venue for all sorts of events - business and pleasure. A former Women’s Institute opened in 1926, Barkway Village Hall has been sympathetically extended and modernised over the years. The main hall includes a stage (which can be extended) with lighting and sound system, a bar area, a big screen and projector and comfortable, cushioned seats as well as free, super fast wi-fi connection. The kitchen, which includes industrial cooking and dishwashing equipment, has recently been extended. Off the main hall, the Committee Room is perfect for smaller meetings or as a “green room” for performances using the stage. It can be hired separately from the main hall. The Hall regularly hosts quizzes, film nights, private parties, sales, sports events including Karate and Zumba classes, wedding receptions and the annual Barkway pantomime. The Hall has disabled access and a hearing loop.Barkway Village Hall is managed by a committee of volunteers and is maintained through hire fees and fundraising.
