Description

The Museum was first established in 1971 which was converted from the redundant village school into an embryonic museum. The Gem Rock Museum has developed from our interest in the natural world of gemstones, minerals and most things geological into a family business centred around our large collection of cut and uncut gemstones, crystals, minerals and fossils. The collection which is on permanent display at the Creetown Gem Rock Museum has become one of the most popular visitor attractions in South West Scotland.
