Angela Lawrence paints in watercolour and oil, contemporary but affordable paintings which allude to the endurability of the mountains and sea as well as their elusive changeability. Inspired mostly by the looming shapes and ever-changing shadows across the hills and horizons of glorious Galloway, but also the scenery of the Western Highlands and Perthshire, a wide selection of expressive semi-abstract but often very recognisable paintings is on show all year. In the gallery visitors are free to browse or buy, or discuss a special commission and painting classes. A wide selection of signed prints and cards are also available.
