1,400 acre nature reserve. From October to April thousands of wild geese, swans and other birds can be seen from comfortable hides and observation towers. In summer, nature trails meander through flower meadows alive with wildlife. Friendly wardens provide information and assistance. Special events include free wildlife safaris at 1400 daily. Summer opening with Ospreys live and on CCTV. Natural history bookshop. Binoculars and telescopes for sale; binoculars for hire. Sheltered picnic area. We now have a fair trade coffee shop serving teas, coffees, homebaking and light meals.
