The Acre has a function room downstairs which was a perfect size for my party of 50 people. There is a bar in the corner and room for a DJ and a few tables set up. The lights can be dimmed to create a party atmosphere. The bar is cash only and doesn't do draft beers but guests can always nip upstairs to the main bar and get what they want. The staff were friendly and professional and accommodated all my last minute checks and concerns! The food was good value for money and set up in a separate room so it did not impact on the main party. It was all done on time. All in all a very good venue and one which I would highly recommend.
